This couple had been living in their house for a few years and had considered putting on an extension to the house. After a few meetings they decided to make the garden another living space and with a clever design we incorporated storage, a seating and bbq area. The focal water feature was chosen with their young children in mind and artificial grass was used as the garden was north facing and lacked light. We incorporated lighting and an outdoor patio heater. Planting was kid friendly and to give year round colour. A feature Japanese maple was planted in the raised bed beside the kitchen under planted with festuca. A tall olive and screen with herb planters makes the garden feel slightly Mediterranean. Salvias, lavender and a sambucus blace lace will give some height with time. Erigernon and stipa pony tails are a key element to the design.
"We would highly recommend Lotus Landscape Design. Of four companies contacted, we were most impressed with Vyvian’s enthusiasm, ideas and knowledge & the transformation of our garden is nothing short of miraculous. Lotus Landscape Design is the perfect blend of knowledge, enthusiasm and hard work – a rare find."
