French Gardens

Client: Edwards
Our client wanted a country garden, but was challenged by the existing landscape. It was a rocky hilltop garden with very little good top soil. We designed and built a series of interlinking steps and patios which maximised the use of space within the garden. Gaining access was difficult and all materials needed to be brought in with the use of cranes or concrete pumps. We planted the landscape with many attractive grasses and succulents in keeping with the terrain.
Old reclaimed sleepers and terracotta tiles were used in steps and as paving, which added to the country feel of this property.
