The client brief for this design was to create an additional outdoor living space, hide some ugly walls and to build a compact playhouse.
We used microshade timber to clad the perimeter walls and to build the playhouse so that they would blend, creating an illusion of space.
Additional features included raised planters and lighting behind the cladding. Steps and paving were tumble silver granite. We saved and re-used some planting and added hellebores and hydrangeas.
